Laura came all the way from Seattle area to play in my new studio. It was fantastic to share with someone who has a beautiful studio herself, and appreciates the space. She is a fantastic glass artist, currently the ISGB regional director, and has work in galleries across the states. We had a lot of fun, laughing and working.

Here's Laura checking out paste solder. It was great to get this area set up and working. Since she visited at the first of February I've added a small rolling enamel table to the area to offload some of the non essential stuff. And I need to order some more medium paste solder from Beth Katz...

My
sister Karen and Laura in the metal area. This is a nice view of most
of the metal area. The turquoise and chartreuse cabinet was made my Mike
Bass, it holds a lot of equipment and chemicals quite nicely. Still
some more set up to be done, but this was a big step forward.
